Three Steps
We realize that that the apathy surrounding Global Warming is often a product of fear: the fear that we are too late, the problem is too great, and that we as individuals cannot do anything about it.

This couldn’t be farther from the truth.

On this page, we have listed three very easy steps you can take to help reduce your carbon imprint on the world.  Your carbon imprint is the total pounds of carbon you will put into the air each year.  Most of this comes from the burning and mining of fossil fuels, and is a leading cause of global warming.

Yes, this is just a start.  A measly start to be sure, but small, deliberate steps will add up.  Please note: we have provided you with three steps that will SAVE YOU MONEY while helping you to stop spewing pollutants.

The only (seemingly) expensive step on this page is to buy CFL’s.  Please know that your savings will outweigh your initial expense by five times and SAVE YOU MONEY while reducing your carbon imprint.

Lowering your heating temperature in the winter and raising your cooling temperature in the summer will also SAVE YOU MONEY.

Getting better gas mileage by keeping your tires inflated and your air filter clean…will SAVE YOU MONEY!

Feel free to buy a hybrid car, incorporate solar or wind power, buy alternative/renewable energy from your power company, ride a bike to work, and use petroleum-free products.  These solutions range from expensive (but cost-saving, and ultimately showing a return on investment) to FREE.

We realize we all must go at our own pace.  Just know that our solutions are endless, and each small change will lead us toward a cleaner earth, one where global warming is not a death sentence, but a former threat halted by an immense human achievement.

For many of your cleaner energy solutions, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND you visit Energy Federation Incorporated @ www.efi.org. Tell them Team Earth sent you!

*Bonus: as always, plant a tree every year, or at least plant one for every one you cut down.  Just one planted tree per person per year would do a lot to help reduce our carbon imprint.
